Lake Region Blood Drive
Lake Region Electric Cooperative believes serving our communities goes beyond providing safe and reliable electric service. It also means giving back in meaningful ways that strengthen the places we call home. During the Dog Days of Summer Blood Drive, Working Foreman Supervisor Jason Youngblood rolled up his sleeve to donate blood at Lake Region Electric Cooperative's Hulbert Headquarters. The blood drive, held in partnership with Our Blood Institute, welcomed both scheduled donors and walk-ins from across the community. Every donation collected will help patients in need, including accident victims, surgery patients, cancer patients, and others facing medical emergencies. Just one donation has the potential to save multiple lives. At LREC, one of our guiding cooperative principles is Concern for Community. Whether supporting local schools, sponsoring community events, or hosting blood drives, we are proud to partner with organizations that make a positive impact throughout our service area. We appreciate Jason for leading by example and extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated. Your generosity will make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
