Honoring Our 2026 Storm Response Team
There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for our lineworkers and storm response team.
Throughout June and July, our employees answered the call time and time again. No matter the hour, the weather, or the challenge, they worked tirelessly to safely restore power to the members we serve. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment never wavered, even during long days and difficult conditions.
To recognize their extraordinary efforts during the 2026 storm season, Lake Region Electric Cooperative's leadership gathered with our lineworkers and storm response team for lunch, enjoying pizza from a local restaurant, presenting them with Lake Region-branded hats, and most importantly, taking the opportunity to simply say, "Thank you."
Storm restoration is never the work of one person or one department. Every outage response depends on employees across the cooperative working together to support our members and one another. We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, resilience, and servant's heart our employees demonstrated throughout this storm season.
To every member of our storm response team, thank you for your hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. We are honored to work alongside you, and we are grateful for everything you do to keep the lights on for the communities we proudly serve.
