Lake Region Electric Cooperative is proud to recognize Board President Scott Manes and Vice President Lynn Lamons for earning recertification in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Director Gold Program. The Director Gold certification recognizes cooperative directors who are committed to continuing their education beyond the Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) and Board Leadership Certificate programs. Achieving and maintaining this designation reflects a director’s dedication to expanding their knowledge, strengthening their leadership skills, and fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities to the highest standard.

Through ongoing training and professional development, Manes and Lamons continue to deepen their understanding of the electric cooperative industry, governance, and the issues that impact Lake Region members and communities. Their commitment to continued learning reflects Cooperative Principle #5: Education, Training, and Information.
