Building a Strong Foundation Through Co-op 101

At Lake Region, understanding the cooperative difference is an important part of serving our members well. That’s why we recently welcomed a group of team members, along with newly elected Trustee Alan Vann, for Co-op 101 training with CEO Glen Clark.

Co-op 101 provides a valuable introduction to the mission, values, and principles that guide everything we do as an electric cooperative. From learning how cooperatives operate differently from investor-owned utilities to exploring our commitment to community, education, and member service, the training helps build a strong foundation for both employees and leadership.

As a member-owned cooperative, our focus is always on serving the people and communities who rely on us. Trainings like Co-op 101 help ensure our team understands not only the technical side of our work, but also the purpose behind it.

We are proud to invest in education and leadership development that strengthens our organization and reinforces the cooperative principles that make Lake Region unique.
