Annual Meeting Information

2026 LREC Annual Meeting (NEW LOCATION)

Each April, LREC holds our Annual Meeting of Members. It is an opportunity for members to gather and review our annual financial report for the past year, and it is also an opportunity for the members conduct an election of their representation on the LREC Board of Directors.

LREC is excited host this year's Annual Meeting at our headquarters in Hulbert. We look forward to seeing our members! 

  • Join us: Saturday, April 25, 2026
  • Drive Thru Voting: 8 am-1 pm 
  • Business Meeting: 1:05 pm 
  • Location: NEW - LREC Headquarters - 516 S Lake Region Rd, Hulbert, OK 74441
  • Extra: 10 AM - 1 PM FREE hotdog cookout for members at Hulbert City Park

 

Annual Meeting Bill Credit

Each member account registered at the annual meeting will also receive a $30 electric credit and have their name entered into a raffle for cash prizes totaling $3,500 after the Annual Meeting.

We will also have a business meeting inside the new LREC event center at 1:05 p.m. for our CEO to update the members on the co-op’s financials. No prizes will be presented at this business meeting; it will only consist of the co-op financial update.

2026 Board of Directors Elections

Two Open Seats: LREC board members are elected at-large, with the top two vote-getters filling the open seats. 

Lynn Lamons

A Cherokee County farmer and rancher who has spent his entire life in the Lake Region Electric Cooperative service area. He graduated from Tahlequah High School and is a Hulbert resident. Lynn has been an active member of the Cherokee County 4-H Club for many years. Lynn has served on the LREC’s Board of Trustees for the past 21 years. He has earned credentials as a Cooperative Trustee, Board Leadership Certification, and Director Gold Credentials from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Lynn has played an active role in guiding the cooperative through changes in the electric utility industry. He has worked to ensure that the cooperative provides reliable and affordable electric service to its members. Currently, Lynn serves as Vice-President of the board.

Dianna Mayfield

A lifelong resident of the Shady Grove community and has been a member of Lake Region Electric Cooperative for approximately 56 years. She is a graduate of Hulbert High School and holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Dianna owned and operated Cherokee Nation Towers with her late husband for 23 years and has served on the LREC Board of Trustees for the past eight years. She holds the Credentialed Cooperative Director certification and the Board Leadership Certificate from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Dianna is the mother of two children and grandmother to six grandchildren. She is committed to serving LREC members and helping guide the cooperative through informed leadership and a dedication to industry best practices.

Stanley Young

A resident of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and a member of Lake Region Electric Cooperative since 1987. Stanley holds a Bachelor of Science and Education and spent 42 years serving LREC before retiring as Director of Marketing and Member Relations. During his career, Stanley gained extensive knowledge of the cooperative and its operations while working closely with members and communities throughout the service area. His decades of experience provide valuable insight into the needs of LREC members and the electric cooperative industry. Stanley and his wife, Judy, have two children, Kaycee and Terry, and four grandchildren: Silas, Stanton, Maggie, and Mazzie. He has also been active in his community, serving six years on the Tahlequah Chamber Board, fifteen years on the Wagoner Chamber Board, and twenty years on the Energize Credit Union Board. He also serves as Chairperson of the Personnel Committee at First United Methodist Church of Tahlequah. Stanley is committed to helping guide Lake Region Electric Cooperative by making thoughtful decisions that help keep rates fair for all members.
